Classical Guitar Magazine is organizing a competition to elect REVELATION CLASSICAL GUITAR 2020 – International contest ROLAND DYENS, whose final will be held on March 20, 2020 under the GUITARS FESTIVAL AT BELFRY, 2 place Émile Cresp, 92120 Montrouge, subway station Mairie de Montrouge.

To participate, nothing more simple, you just have to post on the website of Classical Guitar magazine, a link to a video of a maximum duration of 15 minutes, showing you in game situation and fill the information sheet you find on the page dedicated to the contest.

  • At the opening of this video, kindly introduce yourself to the jury in a few sentences.
  • Your video that will not exceed 15 minutes must include a piece composed by Roland Dyens.
  • There is no age requirement or nationality to participate in this contest.
  • Participation in the contest in 2020 CLASSICAL GUITAR REVELATION – International contest ROLAND DYENS is free.
  • You must post your videos until january 3, 2020 at 00:00.
  • No video registered outside these dates will not be considered.
  • Upon expiry of this period, a panel of representatives of Classical Guitar magazine will meet to elect three finalists.
  • The three finalists will be personally notified no later than 26 february 2020.
  • The final will be held in public, on March, 2020 on the occasion of the traditional party organized under the FESTIVAL GUITARS IN THE BELFRY, in Montrouge (92).
  • The travel and accommodation expenses of the finalists are totally dependent on them.
  • Each finalist will present a program of a maximum duration of 20 minutes which must include at least one piece composed by Roland Dyens.

Following the delivery of three finalists, a jury composed of one member of the drafting of Classical Guitar magazine, a concert, a representative of a record company, a representative of a house editing, a representative of a media specializing in music and other personality that contest officials deem appropriate, will meet to appoint REVELATION CLASSICAL GUITAR 2020 – International contest ROLAND DYENS.

The proclamation will be in public, after the deliberation of the jury.

Participation in the contest in 2020 REVELATION CLASSICAL GUITAR – International contest ROLAND DYENS constitutes acceptance of different points of regulation as set above.

Rewards

The guitarist or to be elected REVELATION CLASSICAL GUITAR 2020 will be rewarded (e) as follows:

  • A trophy « Revelation Classical Guitar 2020 ».
  • A 3-page interview in the Classical Guitar Magazine.
  • Filmed in a master-class Classical Guitar magazine.
  • Programming at the 2021 edition Guitars Festival Belfry and artistic follow in the columns of the magazine.
